that's very nice - I'm shocked it's so small because it has quite a lot of detail. i'm finding myself pleased and excited by the possibilities - these are one-night studies that you do, aren't they?

i spend quite a bit of time in creeks like this, and the lighting, depth and vegetation are convincing :D

Yep they are all done in a night (Except for the ones that are 16x20" or larger or my "Evening Steam" painting)! Normally when I try to spend more than that amount of time, unless I have a clear plan in the beginning, I become impatient and the painting style at the end doesn't match the start lol. oh haha, that reminded me that i didn't fav it when i meant to - i often forget on the works that i comment on, so thank you for the inadvertent reminder :XD:

i love the fav function because i love to share and promote the works of others... and i also love to look through the recommendations of others - i found some brilliant pieces through your favourites yesterday :D
