A 2 day struggle relative to most that I have done... I've gotten rusty from not painting very much lately! I hope its alright haha. Its a scene from the Calcite Springs overlook in Yellowstone. (11x14" Acrylic on Canvas)

Great job! As always, I love the sky. An old art teacher of mine once told me to never let the sky be just one color, and this is an excellent example of how to properly paint one.

I lloovveee the ridge that separates the foreground and background. It looks awesome, and the lighting is great. It really shows the shape of the land very well.

Annndd omgush this water! I'd have KILLED myself AND the painting if I'd tried to paint it! You did a great job with that, in both showing where the light reflects off and where there are a few rapids. Great job!

It's a beautiful piece! Keep it up! <3

Thanks a lot as always! :D I am going to have to try an all sky painting sometime to see if you can ever not like a sky :P. That or experiment to see how small I can make it before you don't comment lol. Water isn't that bad, the key is to get the base color right, and to just layer a lot! Your comments are always the best! Thanks!
