Thanks for linking me to this! It's not often that one gets to see the progression of a piece in traditional media.
I really like your improvements - It's quite a different beast though, isn't it? The strokes, colour blocks, and shapes of this are much bolder, and the literal has been transformed into metaphorical that draws more from the emotion and memory of the onlooker, and combines more themes than the earlier piece.
How do you feel about it? ^_^
